Titled “Mankind's dignity according to monotheistic religions”, the 3rd Conference on Interfaith Dialogue comes in continuation of a series of forums held by the Center of Inter-religious Dialogue affiliated to the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization of the Islamic Republic of Iran, in association with the Swiss Council of Bishops.

The conference is scheduled to take place at Shahid Rahimi building of the organization. It begins at 2 pm lasting 3 hours.

The previous event of the same kind was held on April 19, 2006, featuring “Religious Rights & Minorities” while the first one was hosted by Zürich a year earlier.

Swiss Council of Bishops is a governmental institution bringing a number of orthodox, Protestant, and Catholic denominations of the Christian faith together in order for promoting mutual understanding.

Iranian Center of Interfaith Dialogue has for its main objective to enable different religious communities to get to know each other and pave the way for peaceful co-existence.
